Captured by the Taliban: A Personal Account

The Muslim Student Association of the University of California at Davis has invited Yvonne Ridley to reflect and present her narrative of captivity and eventual escape from the Taliban. We welcome you to join us on November 19th, 2007 as she will illustrate the contradiction between the common perception of the media, general public, and even practices of radical Muslim regimes such as the Taliban regarding the treatment of women in Islam, and the true teachings of the Qur'an and the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
