Event description: The 1982 Warren County Protests: Environmental Justice 25 Years Symposium will honor those who began this powerful movement for equality and also reflect upon the progress of the environmental justice movement. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Robert Bullard, author of Dump It In Dixie. Confirmed legal scholar contributors and speakers at the symposium include: Luke Cole from the Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment; US EPA’s Office of Environmental Justice; Veronica Eady of the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, Robert Garcia of the Center for Law in the Public Interest, Professor Bradford Mank of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Anhthu Hoang of the WE ACT Environmental Justice Center of New York, and Caroline Farrell of the Delano Office of the Center on Race, Poverty and the Environment.
Ø This event has been approved for 5 MCLE credits.
Ø Registration is free for all students with valid current id.
Ø $30 per person, if not seeking MCLE credit.
