*During Senator Feinstein-hosted High Roller Fundraiser for Senator Hillary Clinton*

CodePink, Raging Grannies and community groups tell the Senators: 'Fund Human Needs, Not War'
CODEPINK Women for Peace, with help from co-sponsors the Raging Grannies Action League and Education Not Incarceration, led a coalition of community and peace groups in a rally outside of Senator Dianne Feinstein's Pacific Heights mansion, the site of a Presidential fundraiser for Democratic hopeful Senator Hillary Clinton on Sunday September 30. The coalition targeted the Senators who have supported the funding of the Iraq war and agreed to sanctions on Iran.
In speeches, chants and songs activists made the case that the $2300-4600 (per guest!) fundraising ticket monies should go directly to funding programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Raging Grannies sang about the need for public funding for elections in a song called *How Much for that Clinton in the Senate* to the tune of *How Much is that Doggie in the Window*. Much of this song aired in a lengthy story on Bay Area Channel 2 evening news addressing the issue of high roller campaigns. CodePink's Nancy Mancias and Raging Grannies Action League's Gail Sredanovic, when interviewed by KTVU's reporter, pointed out that large donor funding does not serve the public interest and that it amounts to a system where favors are bought by the wealthy.
CodePink garnered national attention when its members "disrupted" Senator Clinton's Fundraiser at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco on February 23, 2007.
