~Thanks Tracy for this one~

This is quoted from a brief by the San Francisco City Attorney's
Office Dennis Herrera
(from Michael Weiss and Yvonne Mere, City Attorney staff)

"In addition, Defendant-Interveners charge that the gang injunction will
lead to police harassment and racial profiling of "other Latino youth".
In support of their hyperbolic claims, Defendant-Interveners offer only
self-serving Declarations from gang members, their families, and the staff
members of organizations whose funding and jobs depend on the
continued existence of violent gang members on our streets. These
Declarations should be viewed skeptically."
