What should I DRIVE?
Sustainable Fairfax will host a panel discussion on the most environmentally friendly choices of cars with low to no carbon emissions available today. The event is part of Sustainable Fairfax's monthly Community Education series and will be held at the new Sustainability Center. Donations of $5 are suggested.
The focus of the discussion will be what we can drive today.
On the panel will be local experts including:
LANCE McCARDLE – Founder of LC Biofuels, LLC; expert on biodiesel
MARC GELLER --Co-Founder, Plug In America; Board of Directors, Electric Auto Association; expert on hybrids and electric vehicles
JASON PAVAO and JEFF KROOP – Former owners of Marin BioFuels; experts on straight vegetable oil (SVO) conversion
The panelists will speak on their area of expertise. There will be a time for questions and answers followed by a discussion to address participants concerns.
Sustainable Fairfax's Sustainability Center will be opening in October 2007. The center will provide the Fairfax community, bay area residents and business owners, and visitors with a Sustainability help desk, reference library, a retail space for local and green products, and ongoing Community Education classes
