Hootenanny at the Feinstein Mansion Part I
Raging Grannies and Betsy Rose joined Code Pink in front of Diane Feinstein's Mansion where they Rang the doorbell and Sang Out for Peace.
Supporters from as far away as Palo Alto, Mexico City and Milan converged August 19th to support Code Pinkers who are midway in their Fast for Peace trying to get Mesdames Feinstein and Pelosi to wake up and smell the coffee--People want the troops home now!
P.S. DiFi was home and waved from her window.

the only thing more sickening than the feinstein mansion - bought with war profits - bought with the deaths or iraqi children ... is the completely disgusting response by groups like code pink and raging grannies.
clue: speaking truth to power is a joke - they already know the truth.
feinstein should be prevented from doing her job. but people like medea "arrest the anarchists!" benjamin and cindy "my son was a rapist" sheehan simply want more tv time - or worse - to become members of congress themselves. i suppose they like having blood on their hands.
i know this will be incomprehensible to most americans, but i will say it anyway: political activism isnt about making you feel better about yourself. as a matter of fact, other people actually exist in this universe.
The beauty, music, friendship, solidarity and hope are palpable in these inspiring photos! Keep on keepin' on!
I`m part of the Mexican iniciative against war, and i was moved by this good news of you brave and beautiful ladies doing what is right, using your creativity to call attention about peace.
You are an inspiration to us and many people around the world. Thank you!
In Mexico, we colaborate with zapatistas in many social strugles, but our main work is at peace movement, we think that war touches our lifes in many ways but creative experience, art and culture are the best ways to keep war away from our hearts and become more humans from the inside. I just read that God loves justice and that peace is not a charity, but a right, the i saw your action and this all has been awsome to me, i will share this article with my friends at LA KARAKOLA in Mexico city tomorrow that we present the Life's Forum.
Best regards,
Arturo (R2D2)
