Walnut Creek: Imagine Peace Candlelight Vigil

The Mt. Diablo Peace & Justice Center and MoveOn.org will co-sponsor a Peace Vigil to commemorate the national “Take a Stand” day and to show solidarity with the international community by consistently calling for peace and nonviolence as a way to resolve personal and national conflict. As Congress heads back to Washington to debate the war, communities across the country are organizing the largest peace vigil since the war began nearly five years ago. Please bring a dripless or enclosed candle, your family, your friends and your neighbors. Sing along with Michael Sullivan.
