Transit officials look at hiring marketing expert

Marin Transit District directors on Monday morning will review a proposal to hire a marketing consultant.
District staff is recommending the county hire Transit Marketing LLC on a $41,000 contract to identify the district's promotional needs, interview current and potential riders and develop marketing strategies.

That work will include a detailed budget.

Arizona-based Transit Marketing was selected from three proposals the district received for the task.

The directors will review the district's 2004-05 audit.
