LA DEA Raids in Process - Update

July 25th, 1 PM PDT: The DEA is raiding at least three medical
cannabis dispensaries in LA:

The California Patients Group 6208, Santa Monica Boulevard, which
has served as a focal point of local activism and hosted meetings of
patients & coops.
City of Angels Wellness Center, 1600 N. La Brea Ave #118
Sunset Collective, 7065 1/2 Sunset Blvd - a few blocks down the
street from City of Angels.
This is a flagrant federal attack on medical marijuana. Protesters
are urged to visit the scene of the crime.

§Update from CPG Raid

After hundreds of patients and advocates blockaded the California
Patients' Group, the DEA and LAPD released those who were being detained
inside. All DEA agents and LAPD agents have left CPG, and CPG is
reopening its doors this evening.

Five protesters were arrested on various charges and will hopefully be
released this evening. CPG and ASA would like to send a special thanks
to Dege Coutee, who spearheaded the blockade of CPG's driveway this
afternoon. We also would like to thank all of the patients, providers,
and advocates who rushed down to CPG to show solidarity.

The fight is not over, so please join us on Friday at 9am at the Los
Angeles Federal Building in downtown LA to protest the continued DEA
attacks. We will then march to LA City Hall. Join is in the movement to
protect safe access!
