Who will lead the SF Redevelopment Agency now that Marcia Rosen is history?

by Francisco Da Costa
Marcia Rosen the former Director of SF Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) is history and the sooner she moves far away the better. Now that she is gone and good riddance of very bad rubbish - who do you think will lead the SF Redevelopment Agency (SFRA)? Who ever this person is - he or she will still have to deal with the blatant disregard for any rules and regulations initiated by Lennar BVHP LLC. Could it be Olsen Lee? Time will tell.
Marcia Rosen with intent and following instructions from Jessie Blout chose to work with Lennar BVHP LLC the most corrupt Real Estate Developer in the Nation. This guys are like the Mafia and they do operate like the Mafia.

San Francisco of all the places should have done its investigative reporting - but because of folks like Nancy Pelosi and one Laurence Pelosi - our City chose Lennar BVHP LLC to develop not only Parcel A but were promised the other parcels at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard - as soon as the United States Navy - turned parcels B, C, D, E and F over after some clean up which has been delayed.

Jessie Blout who once worked for Bay Area Economics (BAE), then for the SF Redevelopment Agency (SFRA) and when Mayor Gavin Newsom became Mayor - appointed Jessie Blout as the Director of the Mayor's Office of Economic Development to which Jessie added Workforce.

Mission Bay is a disgrace when it comes to Quality of Life issues. People in the know about the land prone to liquefaction and the millions of tons of toxic dirt that is buried here, there, and every where and which should have been removed and taken to a legal dump site.

I have stated this fact before but Jessie Blout, Marcia Rosen (who is now history), Willie L. Brown who master minded most everything at Mission Bay, others too many to mention but all of them have blood on their hands.

In future and even now - people at Misison Bay are suffering. It is a crime to see - piles and piles of dirt - some covered other left uncovered and Regulatory Agencies doing nothing. The Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Toxic and Substance Control, the Regional Water Board, the SF Health Department, the Board of Supervisors, Mayor Gavin Newsom - know fully well about the toxic dirt and and doing nothing much.

We call ourselves the Green City, the City that has the Precautionary Principle, Article 31 of the Health Code and so on - but we continue not to follow and enforce our laws and regulations.

It is simply wrong for any decent agency, organization, City, officials to build homes and facilities on toxic land as is being done at Mission Bay. And as I said many times Jessie Blout, Marcia Rosen, others from the SFRA have permitted such nonsense because of greed and lack of accountability.

Jessie Blout in a way succeeded at Mission Bay and got away with murder.

Jessie thinks he can do the same at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. Well, I tell you - the 49ers do not want to have anything to do with Hunters Point - it is a Superfund Site and will take billions of dollars to clean or abate.

The community at Bayview Hunters Point is waiting for Jessie Blout and Mayor Gavin Newsom. Now, is the time to play hoops and hoopla.

Nancy Pelosi thinks with some $90 million set aside for clean up - at this late hour the 49ers will agree with her and Mayor Gavin Newsom.

No one in their right mind respects Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsom. Their actions speak for themselves. These two vermin cannot be trusted. And you can add to that Dianne Feinstein.

The SFRA has targeted poor people and set acres and acres of land as a Project Area. The matter is the Appeals Court - and if all goes well - we hope to win and send SFRA to the cesspool.

Over 33,200 signatures were collected to defeat SFRA's ploys and put the measure about SFRA and the Project Area in the Bayview Hunters Point on the Ballot.

The SF Elections Department approved the signatures, some 33,200 and authorized a Certificate of Approval.

The City Attorney, Dennis Herrera, Aaron Peskin with Sophie Maxwell declared the signatures invalid because these three claimed the full language linked to the reasons why the matter should have been placed on the Ballot - did not accompany the petitions forms while gathering the signatures for the proposed Ballot measure.

Well, we will see the matter soon in the Appeals Court.

In the mean time who will lead the SFRA? Will it be Olsen Lee? Will it be another weasel?

Anyway, you look at it Jessie Blout and Mayor Gavin Newsom are running about with their head in the sand. Spreading rumors about the community. The community is NOT getting funding from anyone - they are grass roots and very angry. And when folks are angry in the thousands - some one will have to deal with the heat that is growing hotter by the hour.

All measures are taken to RECALL Sophie Maxwell - she is ignorant, arrogant, and what is most visible to anyone while watching her speak, and interact very inept.

Lennar is losing in court. Lennar BVHP LLC is on the run. The community wants them out of the area and may they go far away and never come back to haunt us again. Enough is enough.
