People Project Camp Busted in Arcata
April 25, 2007
Arcata, CA
Arcata, CA
This Wednesday morning, police arrived shortly before 6:30 AM to dismantle the People Project Camp in Arcata, CA.
The People Project camp had been formed on Saturday on the Arcata city public park at 11th and G streets. The camp was to be temporary and was meant to expose and bring attention to the fact that there is no legal free space for the houseless to sleep in Arcata and to connect with people in the community to support a free, people run, eco-sustainable campground for the houseless.
