A full concert double bill with Roy Zimmerman and guest of honor Faith Petric... Suggested admission $10 (more or less), all welcome!
George Mann is a New York City-based singer-songwriter who has been an agitator and union organizer for many years. Besides his work with 90-year-old firebrand Julius Margolin, George has produced the "Hail to the Thief!" anti-Bush compilation series (3 CDs so far) featuring many great Bay-area musicians, with the final act, "Farewell to the Thieves!" due in 2008. He has just completed a new CD, "Into the Fire," with 13 songs of war, protest, pain and triumph. He tours the West Coast several times a year and will be singing songs from "Into the Fire" and the "Hail to the Thief!" CDs on this tour.
