This water banquet brings together faith communities, public health professionals, everyday activists and community leaders, students and elected officials. The World Water Challenge is an hour-long community education program about the dangers of corporate control of water and actions to turn back the tide. Included are stories of corporate water abuses in Asia, Latin America, the United Kingdom and North America.

As profit-driven industry increasingly controls our water supply, the global water crisis looms larger than ever. People around the world are resisting the attempt by corporations such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, and Pepsi to decide who has access to water and who does not. We urge you to get involved in our efforts to raise awareness in your community about the water bottling industry as it is the most visible attempt by transnational corporations to take control of our planet's most precious resource – water.
