Chris Carlsson spoke on 3/17/07 at the 12th Annual Anarchist Bookfair in San Francisco.
Chris is a San Francisco community organizer, co-founder of Critical Mass, editor of "Critical Mass: Bicycling's Defiant Celebration", and he is co-founder of Processed World. His most recent books are After the Deluge, a utopian novel set in 22nd-century San Francisco, and The Political Edge, a collection of diverse perspectives on the implications of the oddball coalitions of Matt Gonzalez's insurgent mayoral campaign.
He spoke about his upcoming book, "Nowtopia: How Pirate Programmers, Outlaw Bicyclists and Vacant Lot Gardeners are inventing the Future Today" soon to be published by AK Press.
