Introducing A Game As Old As Empire
This is a short letter of introduction I wrote to John Perkins new book "A Game As Old As Empire" to my friends and social activists. I have since added a Redux which asks the question: After the Economic Hitmen retire from their cushy jobs of raping nations under "legal cover", they write confessionals as victims of conscience. Should we applaud the former EHM and absolve them of their own past monumental crimes just because they are revealing it all now, post faits accomplis, and laughing their way to the bank?
Please continue reading the letter of introduction "Introducing A Game As Old As Empire" on humanbeingsfirst.org at URL: http://humanbeingsfirst.blogspot.com/2007/03/introducing-game-as-old-as-empire.html
Feel free to do with it as you deem appropriate, as per the diktats of your conscience.
How do I use this information? Please see IratePakistani.blogspot.com article: http://iratepakistani.blogspot.com/2007/03/letter-to-chronicle-editor.html
I invited John Perkins to work with me through his publisher in reference to the World Bank continually funding new "mega projects", but he was too busy to respond selling his new book! Some other courageous person in the future will surely be writing about this new blunder in progress as I outline in the articles on IratePakistani.blogspot.com
What is the point of exposing faits accomplis when the lessons learnt from them cannot be efficaciously applied to preventing contemporaneous and future crimes?
For instance, please see the analysis on humanbeingsfirst.org in the commentary "The endless trail of red herrings" at http://humanbeingsfirst.blogspot.com/2007/03/endless-red-herrings.html
And why go that far? Just witness "World War IV" in action - as if the cache was flushed, a hard reset was hit, and the goodly people in the world have no memory left other than what they ate for breakfast yesterday! As the war on Iran is in the works, the war on Iraq never happened!
But I am certain many books will be written about it in the future!
If I was on Mars looking down on the earthlings, I could only come away wondering - what a fantastic Poisson process!
Kind Regards
Zahir.
