Screening of China Blue

PJA will kick off our first annual Sweatshop Awareness Month with a screening of China Blue, Micha Peled’s stunning documentary illustrating the lives of young women working in a blue jeans factory in China. With China Blue, “Mr. Peled doesn’t just record the girls’ indignities,” says the New York Times, “he listens to their dreams.” Join us on International Women’s Day for an evening of education and inspiration. We will address the issue of sweatshop abuses today and let you know what you can do to help make change.
