Northern California kicks-off America500 Birthday Extravaganza (1507-2007) for planetary understanding.

Residents of Benicia, early historic Golden State Capitol, join in to WEAR WHITE FOR PEACE ON 2007 NEW YEAR.

Brazil saluted as first place named America, being honored worldwide for its PEACE tradition at Rio's Copacabana Beach as 2007 New Year launch for America500 Birthday Extravaganza (2007-2012).

Santa Cruz to join in on Sat. Dec. 30 at Noon, with "samba train" procession starting at Santa Cruz City Hall - cohosted by City Councilman Mike Rotkin and Golden State historian Riccardo Gaudino. The public is welcome to wear white and participate in bring in the spirit of community, peace and understanding by wishing all a Happy New Year.
