Audio People joined together to try to form the "World's Largest Human No on 85 Sign." (Post reports) The No on 85 Campaign hoped that over 300 people would participate in this visibility action. At 1pm people planned to conduct voter outreach and visibility in District 8 (the Mission, Noe Valley, and the Castro). Later, at 5pm, a NO on 85 Happy Hour and Comedy Show was held at Martuni's Martini bar (at Valencia at Market). Read more
The Bay Area is seen as critical to the success of the No on 85 campaign. The supporters of Proposition 85 - the same people who organize the annual "Walk for Life" in San Francisco - are going to be in San Francisco in October. The events on October 7th will show that the Bay Area is pro-choice and that its residents will not not let anti-choice extremists threaten California's most vulnerable teens.
