Volunteer to "Stop the Maloof Tax"!!!

The Stop the Arena Tax Campaign (aka "The Maloof Tax") is fully underway. Last Thursday, we started calling voters to let them know that we will not put up with this free hand-out to billionaire sports owners!

Starting this week (and up until election day), we will be holding phonebanks FOUR NIGHTS A WEEK! If you can come out and make calls just one night a week, we will become a tremendous force in defeating these measures!

Dates: Monday, August 28th
Tuesday, August 29th
Wednesday, August 30th
Thursday, August 31st

Time: 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Location: 2315 Capitol Avenue - Victorian Home
Park: Park in the back lot and enter through back door - turn into
parking lot from 24th Street (between L and Capitol)

We will continue calling voters - we found out that Sacramento needs more information about this deal and we need to tell them the truth! Truth: We must take care of our community needs before we take care of billionaires!
