Bay Area CODEPINK Needs YOU!

by Pink Sister
CODEPINK Bay Area has been actively working to promote peace and justice in the United States and abroad. Many are STILL holding a fast, working to bring a peaceful end to the war in Iraq. Please consider supporting their important work. Suggested donation is $50, but anything is always welcome.

Greetings folks!

We started off last Wednesday needing 24 individuals willing to commit $50 per month for 12 months to keep the CodePINK Office in the East Bay open.

Thanks to many people's generosity and support, we now only need SEVEN and 1/4 more pledges!!! We are so VERY close.

Our challenge is to get those people in the next 7 days = that's one donor per day! or SEVEN donors today!

PLEASE, ask you neighbor, your boss, your partner, your religious leader - ask anyone you possibly can, to try to pledge to keep this vital office open!

The pledge card is below.

THANK YOU for EVERYONE's efforts! We could not have made it this far without your support!

In pink peace,

SOS Team, Bay Area CODEPINK

I'm looking at the thing in the left column and it says that $0 has been donatedto indybay in the last month. That doesn't help indybay to pay rent or the phone bill. It also doesn't help with payback for the server purchase or anything else!

I know it's hard times, but please consider giving a few dollars a month, like $5 or 10, as if it were your kpfa or kqed or internet access or whatever. It doesn't make sense for the volunteers who are already donating tons of time to be the only people who are giving money to the project. If 20 people gave $5 per month, we'd be in pretty good shape.

Online store coming soon, hopefully (with t-shirts!).

Thanks!

indybay has conducted it's self deplorably these last two years.
they have wasted money on luxuries.
they have taken over several smaller Locally friendlyIMC's
and forced them into a one size fits all format.
they are taking on the business ethics of Wal-Mart.
the staff have proven to be petty dictators that step on
their workers for self gratification. in this we ask you

DO NOT GIVE TO INDYBAY !

NOT ONE THIN DIME!
Code Pink was AWOL. Tony Blair arch war criminal is in town and Code Pink doesn't mobilize. They betrayed people around the world looking for SF to provide leadership.

There needs to be a council; What Went Wrong - How could the 2nd most powerful war criminal come to town for 48 hours and NEVER be confronted?
