Audio From The Oakland Solidarity Rally For South Central LA Community Farm
Recent bulldozing of the United State’s largest urban farm by developer Ralph Horowitz has not crushed the spirit of the movement to save the farm by farmers and supporters worldwide. Despite the massive destruction by developer’s bulldozers July 5th and 6th, 48 hrs. after Independence Day, South Central Farmers and supporters are continuing their united vision to preserve the property now and for future generations.
On July 8th there was a rally at the Grand Lake Farmer's Market in Oakland. Several speakers from the farm as well as Bay Area community organizers spoke at the rally.
