John Crockford Endorsed by QueerFresno.com

QueerFresno.com, an information website dedicated to the awareness, education, and visibility of the gay and lesbian community in the city of Fresno and the surrounding Central Valley in California, has again endorsed John Crockford for State Assembly. In 2004, John was the first candidate ever to be endorsed by QueerFresno.com.

An outspoken advocate for gay rights, John often refers to the Peace and Freedom Party's platform plank on sexual orientation as a blueprint for equality:

• Equal treatment and benefits under the law for all families. Guarantee equal child custody, adoption, visitation privileges, and foster parenthood rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
• Equal treatment for all people in the military regardless of sexual orientation.
• The right to gay marriage and partners' benefits.
• Accurate sex education courses in public schools. Truthful information about sexuality in society and history.

In a response to a questionnaire from the PolyGreens, John summed up his position by stating that "I support legalization of gay marriages and I support language that would be inclusive of multi-partner (polyamorous) relationships in any gay marriage legislation."
