Polynesian Youth Attend Retreat at South Lake Tahoe
Polynesian youth from the Bay Area and Southern California attended the Annual Retreat at South Lake Tahoe and came out with flying colors. It was awe inspiring to see our beloved Polynesian youth shine when they spoke, in the dances they performed, the sports they played and the way they all behaved. Kudos to the Mentors and the Chaperones for doing such a wonderful job.
Every year we take our Polynesian Youth to a Retreat. Last year we took them to Oxnard, California by the beach and they all enjoyed themselves.
This year we took them to South Lake Tahoe and the weather was excellent. We provide good facilities and the youth enjoyed themselves.
We fed them well and they in turn returned the favor by learing a lot about the Polynesian Cultural. The climax was the Cultural Event and the youth performed well and showed off their talent.
It was not all fun at the Retreat but also some serious cultural thinking and the youth came out shining.
Again and again the youth came our with solutions and behaved themselves because the Chaperones and the Mentors took it upon themselves to love them:
