JUDI BARI DAY COMMEMORATION

Date:
Wednesday, May 24, 2006
Time:
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
Location Details:
Corner of Park and east 33rd, near Macarthur

Commemorate Judi Bari Day as we have every year since 1990, by remembering the day she and Darryl Cherney were bombed in Oakland and framed by the FBI. She immediately turned around and stood up to the powers, spoke truth to power and sued the bastards!

In 2002, 5 years after Judi’s tragic death from breast cancer, we WON that Constitutional lawsuit against the FBI and Oakland police!

We will gather at the spot the bomb exploded on May 24, 1990

At the time it exploded: just before noon

On Park Boulevard & East 33rd St. in Oakland, across the street from Oakland High School (near 580 overpass) We will gather at about 11:30. Look for the Judi Bari banner.

Please Join Us!

Don’t ever give up! Don’t ever forget!

Viva Judi! Earth First!
