PERMACULTURE
Design Certification Course at the San Francisco Botanical Garden

18 Sessions, 6 Weekends of June 9 -11 & 16 – 18 July 7 – 9 & 14 – 16 and August 11 – 13 & 18 – 20. Fridays 6:30 – 9:30pm, Saturdays 9 am – 5:30 pm, Sundays 1 – 5:30. The city is where it's at!

Join us for the city's premiere urban permaculture course in the heart of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Learn to design and create living systems the way nature does. Meet collaborate with your community of soulutioneers!

Course topics include: Natural patterns, whole systems thinking, site analysis, mapping, animals, aquaculture, ecovillages, waste + food, renewable energies, appropriate tech, building community, water catchment, storage and recycling, urban food production, social justice, food security, indigenous practices, green jobs, economics, ethics and principles, design process, agroforestry and food forests and more...

Cost: SFBGS Members $870 Non-Members $950
Donation includes local organic lunches and free tickets to SOL Fest!

Teaching Team Includes: Fred Bové of the SF Botanical Garden, Kevin Bayuk of SF Urban Alliance for Sustainability, Kat Steele of the Urban Permaculture Guild, Stacey Parker of Garden for the Environment, and Meghan Elliott, Master Composter. Diverse special guests Include: Brock Dolman of Occidental Arts & Ecology Center, James Stark of Regenerative Design Institute, Geoff & Nadia Lawton of Permaculture Research Institute (from Australia!), local San Franciscan visionaries Ben Jordan, Josh Muscat and MORE!!

Previous experience not requires, open to all levels.

Participants completing the course & group design project receive a certificate of completion.
