The Berkeley Richmond Jewish Community Center and Bridges to Israel Presents

Sunday, October 23rd at 4 p.m. Join us as we present the East Bay Premier of the documentary "The Forgotten Refugees" at the Berkeley Richmond JCC. There will be Middle Eastern Food, Music by John Erlich on the Oud, a panel discussion after the movie with Joseph Abdel Wahed of Egypt and Semha Alwaya of Iraq.

The Berkeley Richmond Jewish Community Center is at: 1414 Walnut Street. , Berkeley, CA. Between Vine and Cedar Cost: $5.00

Join us for the Screening of the movie in Berkeley!
We are embarking on a Campaign for Rights and Redress for Jews from Arab Countries. We need to be ready to provide the documentation of the losses of our community. At present only 10% of the estimated 120,000 families, over 900,000 people have any formal record with the Ministry of Justice in Israel. We are now preparing to rectify that situation.

JIMENA needs assistance from volunteers to publicize this effort and to train volunteers to assist people in filling out the forms required. We hope you will consider helping us.

We need everyone's help to be able to successfully document as many Mizrahi stories as we possibly can. WE NEED YOU!
Any Questions? Send an email to Emily Blanck at eblanck [at] jimena.org
