FREMONT — A man was arrested Friday on suspicion of attempted homicide after allegedly choking his father, police said.
About 11:30 a.m., police received an open 9-1-1 call, then heard a hysterical woman crying in the background. Then the woman got on the phone and said her son was trying to kill his dad, according to police.
Officers rushed to the scene and arrested James Young, 30, of Fremont at their home in the 35000 block of Arbordale Court.
Although it was not known how the incident started, police said they suspect there had been a prior disagreement between the son and his father.
Young was booked into Santa Rita county jail in Dublin.
