Calling Out to All Photographers!

Fault Lines, the free newspaper of Indybay.org, wants
your shots of social justice in action for our special
summer issue. For the biggest Fault Lines yet, we
want to recognize Bay Area activists making a positive
change with a feature photo spread. Please send us
hi-resolution digital pictures of folks helping out
our communities through urban gardening, free day
care, bicycle workshops or any other positive
actions---but please NO protest pictures (We already
have enough).
Please include a short caption (200 word max) and your
contact info for each submission.

Mission Statement: Fault Lines, the newspaper of the San Francisco Bay Area Independent Media Center, aims to give all communities the opportunity to actively participate in a collective process of media production and distribution. By operating with transparency, this newspaper hopes to achieve the goal of allowing the public, not corporate conglomerations, to set the agenda for news coverage. Our mission is to train and empower marginalized voices. This publication was created to be used as a tool for radical change in our communities by exposing the stories and raising the issues that the media plutocracy seeks to suppress. We are the people, we are the media and we are dissenting from the ground up.
