THE GREAT SNAIL HUNT

Nightime is a good time to catch snails going about their
destructive work of eating our vegetables. Please join us for a
nightime snail hunting party next Wednesday from 7:30 till whenever
we finish. Bring a flashlight and feel free to bring beverages or
treats to share. We will provide escargot making instructions for
anyone brave enough to try (yummy!).

Snail Hunt
Wednesday, March 23rd
Meet at the Center Street Farm (corner of 16th and Center Streets)
between 7:30 and 8:00. We will break up to go to about 5 other
gardens after we're done at Center Street.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Please consider volunteering your time to help grow organic food for
the community of West Oakland! We especially need folks to help at
two different gardens on Wednesdays. No previous gardening
experience necessary. No need to call first, drop-ins welcome.

The Annex Farm; Wednesdays, 10am-2pm; 1167 5th Street, between Henry
and Lewis Streets

West Oakland Wilds Farm; Wednesdays, 2-6pm; 537 Lewis Street,
between 7th and 5th Streets
