VEGETARIAN OUTREACH

Every Monday in March, join East Bay Animal Advocates for vegetarian outreach at colleges in the East Bay. Members of the public get the opportunity to learn about the plight of farmed animals while they are supplied educational literature on how they can make our planet a safer place for animals.


ADVOCATES FORUM: VEGETARIAN COOKING

Date: March 15
Time: 4 PM
Location: Deaf Community Center, 1550 San Leandro Boulevard, San Leandro

Info: Join East Bay Animal Advocates and Compassionate Cooks for a free workshop about vegetarian cooking.


VEGETARIAN FEED-IN

Date: March 20
Time: Noon
Location: Wendy's, 1500 Broadway, Oakland

Info: Outside the fast food restaurant, advocates will distribute information on the benefits of a vegetarian diet and serve vegetarian 'deli slices' to customers.


KIDS CORNER: BUILDING COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS

Time: Noon
Location: Emerson Elementary School, 4803 Lawton Avenue, Oakland
