Bay Area Anti-War Film - HELP, ADDITIONAL VIDEO FOOTAGE REQUIRED!

I am a Canadian citizen, who lived in the San Francisco Bay Area during the Iraq anti-war protests. I joined with hundreds of thousands of people of diverse backgrounds in the streets of San Francisco to voice my oppposition to an unjust war. I won't preach to the choir, we all know what happened. The worst of all (in my opinion), was a complacent media that mostly ignored us, and our arrests/beatings.

Frustrated, I approached my cable access station, got a camera/equipment, and started filming in and around Napa.

In the North Bay city of Napa, smaller demonstrations occured. I figured there were enough people with cameras in San Francisco/Oakland, and decided to focus on the smaller demonstrations in Napa. Attached is the trailer to my film.

I NEED YOUR HELP! After your president was elected for a second term, I feel it is much more imperative to tell the stories of what happened in what I consider my only true home, the San Francisco Bay Area. I need footage from the San Francisco demonstrations.

I will be screening my film all over Canada, and it has already gained interest with mainstream media outlets and grassroots organizations alike.

I will give full credit for all footage used in the finalized documentary, and I'm aiming for a Christmas release date. I remember being thrown in a cage in a warehouse on the pier. I remember seeing cops brutally beating innocent, nonviolent protesters. I remember the march to I-80, and the squadron of CHP cruisers we met at the onramp. I also remember trying to flush the eyes of a man who'd been knocked off the bridge with a baton and pepper spray. If you have ANY footage, or witnessed these events, and wish to submit to an interview, please contact me. Thanks for your time, and I wish I could be there with you all right now, but I'll have to do my job from here..

Also, I didn't really get clearance or anything from any of my subjects (I was new to this whole filmmaking thing..) and well, I have no funding. I believe this project is more important than money, but I really don't have much. I took over 300 photos in San Francisco, and if you're intrerested in supporting the production of my film, I'm selling original 8x10 photo prints for $20, all to fund it's production. I will distribute my film freely via the internet, screenings, and VCDs. If you are interested in supporting my project, please email me and I will direct you to the website with my photos. I'll ship em out within two weeks, and each photo really makes the diffrence. For every photo that I sell, I can freely distribute up to 25 hard-copies of my film.

-in peace,
