10/2+10/4 Marriage Equality Express Kick-off Events

Three Separate California Kickoff Events

4 days till 48 marriage activists board the National Marriage Equality Express for
their cross-country tour in support of marriage equality and national rally in D.C.

Here are the 3 California events to attend.
1. SAN FRANCISCO kickoff party of the
MARRIAGE EQUALITY EXPRESS CARAVAN on
Saturday, October 2nd from 6pm until 9pm in the
CEREMONIAL ROOM of the LGBT CENTER of San Francisco.
Hors d’oeuvres, wedding cake, sparkling wine, and
non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
Meet the riders and wish them well as they continue our fight for equality.
A suggested donation of $5 will be collected at the
door, but no one will be turned away for giving less... or more. Come and enjoy the
fun!

2. Join Oakland City Council member Danny Wan who will be hand-delivering a
Supportive Resolution from the City Council to the caravan riders as they board the
National Marriage Equality Express tour bus from 6-7 am at Oakland's MacArthur BART
station Monday morning, October 4th.

3. Join us for the first stop on the caravan at the Sacramento Capitol West Steps
Rally on Monday, October 4th from 9:00-10:15am.
