How disappointing. Their SF Eastbay relay channel at 104.9 was seriously some of the best radio I've heard, often better than KALX, KPFA and 104.1. The people selecting music for various shows knew their stuff so well and had access to great stuff.

The Federal Donut Boys are ready for action! They gotta have pistol in hand before going inside this joint. You just don't know what kind of weapons these radio terrorists might have!! Besides, how good can the story be when you go out for beers after the arrest unless you can intimidate the shit out of them by waving a gun in their faces. (Actually, boys, the weapons of choice here are words, not explosives, and you might shut down one voice in the woods, but there will always be more sprouting faster than you can jam a glazed jelly donut down your hatchet.)
