Need Volunteers and spectators! Clarification.. this event is Fri 10/1....(WFAD officially is Sat 10/2..Ghandi's Birthday!)
This is an annual International Campaign by the same fine folks that sponsor the annual Meat Out Campaigns. We will gather at 12 to 2 for the mid day lunch crowd (then lets go have a vegan lunch!) and then also 4 to 6 for the end of day rush...Please go to the http://www.WFAD.org website to see this years theme (and the thousands of other events happening internationally http://www.wfad.org/actioncenter/wevents.htm ) reflecting this election year and its focus on our legislators. Making them more aware, asking them to sign "proclamations" http://www.wfad.org/images/scrollTR.gif.
Likewise the general public will also be made aware with banners, posters, leafletting, Body TV, Bullhorn and what ever else we can muster up. Your ideas and props welcome. I would like to have a focus on each AR issue that Farmed Animals face (i.e. foie gras, downers, veal, egg and chickens...people to man these focuses needed!!) City Approval has been obtained! Media notified and press releases sent. To participate, please contact bitebackvegan@yahoo.com or call 925 788 8296. Your offer to help with preparations would be immensely apperciated.
Thank you... so much let's make the news coverage that night for the animals!!!
