Now that the RNC is over...
...a few suggestions:
Don't get distracted by the "next big thing". I know that the Million worker march (not to mention the election) are coming up, but remember that there's still a lot of work to be done around the RNC protests, especially around legal issues. In particular, we need to stand in solidarity with the people who are going to be facing some serious charges, as well as the thousands of people arrested in NYC during the protests.
Don't be afraid to keep it local once in a while. While the work that bay area folks did was amazing, imagine what would have happened if the 1,000+ folks who went to the RNC from the Bay Area stayed local and, for example, shut down Halliburton in solidarity with the RNC? What if we planned a huge march in solidarity and got 20,000 (or 200,000) people? What if we did both of those things, and more? You get the idea.
Build towards the election. If shrub gets re-selected, you know there's going to be people in the streets. Get together with your friends, families and communities and start to talk about what your best response is. Be creative. Be very creative.
Ya basta!
