Activist Block Two Log Trucks in Eureka

After rallying in front of the Eureka court house and jail, activist moved to the street and blocked two logging trucks bringing traffic on highway 101 north to a standstill in Eureka for over an hour. The rally and action was staged to protest the destructive logging practices of Maxxam/Pacific Lumber and other lumber corporations in the area. The activist are asking the companies to end:
1. clear cutting
2. logging on steep slopes
3. old growth logging
4. spraying herbicides
Three were arrested in the action, two activists and a bystander.

Hey, Costa Trucking doen't even haul logs for Palco. And the logs were not even old growth. Pretty lame demonstration if you ask me.
Even though it may have been the wrong truck etc,etc---It was the right Idea! The point is that Old Growth Trees should not be harvested.They should be kept for future generations to enjoy.You just plain mised the point,just like the logging groups!!
you damn environmentalists are so damn retarded you dont even realize what you wipe your ass with. you say save the trees well just to let you know if we didnt cut the trees down all the deer would die because there would be nothing for them to eat. your a bunch of retards and need to stop smoking the peace pipe.
