California Superior Court Grants Posthumous Name Change Petition for Slain
Bay Area Transgender Teen

San Francisco, CA ‹ Sylvia Guerrero, mother of Gwen Amber Rose Araujo, her
attorney from The Transgender Law Center (TLC), and transgender community
members and allies will speak to the press about the success of Sylvia¹s
petition for recognition of Gwen¹s posthumous change of name from Edward
Araujo Jr. to Gwen Amber Rose Araujo.
