Labor Contingent for Sat. Anti-War March
Reminder: RALLY - MARCH - RALLY, SATURDAY JUNE 5th
Please turn out and help mobilize others for this important demonstration to demand an END TO OCCUPATION and BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW!
The Labor Contingent assembly point for the June 5th antiwar demonstration will be at the statue in UN Plaza, next to the library. Assemble at 11:00 a.m.; march to Justin Herman Plaza at noon. Please bring union banners and wear your union colors (tee-shirts, jackets, hats). Look for the Labor Against the War banner.
DONATIONS STILL NEEDED:
The LC4PJ treasury needs an infusion of cash to pay for printing and other expenses. Annual individual dues are $30 (suggested, but pay what you can afford) or more. Union and other organizational contributions are also most welcome. Make checks payable to LC4PJ and send your donations/dues to P.O. Box 14156, Berkeley, CA 94712-5156.
REMINDER: MEETING POSTPONEMENT
Don't forget the monthly LC4PJ meeting will be on Sunday, June 13, not June 6, at 10:00 a.m. at the Institute of Industrial Relations in Berkeley, 2521 Channing Way.
