South Korean Labor activist, Myoung Joon Kim, and labor film-maker, Jiyoung Lee, recently gave speeches on the South Korean labor media and workers struggles at the LaborTech2004 conference http://www.labortech2004.org at Stanford, California from April 2nd to 4th, 2004. They also talked about the South Korean labor movement and the struggle against globalization in Oakland, California on April 6 after the film screening of Jiyoung Lee's latest work, "Friend or Foe" http://www.lnp89.org. This film chronicles the Korean Telecoms temporary and contact workers union struggle. "South Korean Workers Struggle" has been produced by Miae Kim based on those speeches and the translation was provided by Judy Han.
