Tuesday is the showdown we've all been waiting for and we have to make some noise! Get Out The Vote, and then celebrate at Temple Bar! Don't forget to vote this Tuesday !! Please spread the word. YES ON ALL PROPS (A through I). Props B & H : 50 megawatts of SOLAR power for San Francisco ! Props F & I : TAKE THE ENERGY SYSTEM BACK FROM PG&E ! Medea Benjamin and Ron Dicks for MUD board ! Steve Williams for CITY ATTORNEY ! Carlos Petroni for Treasurer(no endorsement by SFGP) ELECTION NIGHT VICTORY CELEBRATION! Come celebrate this Tuesday, election night, with the San Francisco Green Party, Medea Benjamin, Ron Dicks, Labor and the scores of volunteers that worked like crazy to secure passage of the solar power and public power initiatives and to elect Medea & Ron. Temple Bar, 8 PM, 600 Polk Street(@ Turk Street). On Tuesday San Francisco has the opportunity to begin a grassroots energy revolution. By passing the solar and public power initiatives we can put ourselves at the forefront of a movement for renewable energy in the US. B & H will bring it directly, and F & I will bring it by putting profits towards renewable resource development instead of towards excessive profits for corporations. Public power averages 20% cheaper than private power. LA and Sacramento have public power, and during the so-called "energy crisis" saw no rate increases and no blackouts. PG&E has spent $1.7 million to defeat I & F, and the election could swing either way despite the massive grassroots efforts that have been occurring over the past few weeks and months. This is why it is so important that everyone get out to vote on Tuesday. Forward this e-mail to all your friends in San Francisco, and follow-up with a phone call to remind people. We also could use help on Tuesday to get out votes if you have time to stop by the office. San Francisco Green Party 1910 Mission St. at 15th 415-701-7090/415-701-7944 http://sfgreenparty.org
