Teflon Tyrant

by Tortuga Bi LIBERTY
Guantánamo captives still have zero legal rights, as of today (Jan. 10). Yet Saddam has been given rights, along with POW status, by the U.S. government.
TEFLON TYRANT

Dear freedomseekers,

At least two U.S. Presidents have been quoted as saying "Life isn't fair".

That thought must be echoing thru the minds of prisoners at Guantánamo, who have been given no legal rights at all, at least so far.

Yet not one of them has as much blood on his hands as Saddam. Indeed, not even Osama has slaughtered so many civilians.

"Lucky Saddam", the Teflon Tyrant, has been given the legal status of a Prisoner Of War (POW), which entitles him to human rights under international law. The world-class perpetrator of crimes against humanity, who gave zero rights to his victims, now gets favored treatment.

As U.S. courts consider whether the Guantánamo captives deserve any human rights, let them consider Saddam's privilege.
