I'm reminded of Frank Jordan's MATRIX program, Willie's infrared sweeps of GGPark for homeless encampments . . . and now Newsom continuing the tradition of attacks on the homeless. Can it get worse from here?

I was glad to see this space finally almost completely jammed with people, lots of students and young people, a lot of diversity. There was a small group from the East Bay that I met up with.

My apologies for the bad quality of these little clips - I generally only post them for the audio content.

This too was a funny moment. Again, apologies for the barely visible image quality.

I didn't get any shots during the day handing out literature since it was pretty much non-stop, so the rest of these are just shots on the way home, exhausted.

It was nice to see people still crowded around on the sidewalks with signs even late in the afternoon. There had been a bunch of people earlier here, waving signs on the corner and sprawled on the grass. By the time I was leaving they were finally gone. But further into the Mission I found many more in a cluster in front of cafe. It felt like old times, when Tom first ran, that energy.
