A few of the posters that are featured here were made by none-other-than me!!!!
Oh, My God. The Counter Demo Thursday Night was amazing. We had a very good loudspeaker system and electricity, and the police kept saying that they were told to unplug us. They never did, and we were close enough, 300 feet or so, behind the podium to be competing. In other words Governor McGreevy, Lautenberg, and Corzine heard us. Kudos to New Brunswick cops for doing the right thing by us, unlike the horrendous and evil cops in Oakland and NYC who are more interested in beating up activists instead of free speech.
JATO was with us and the wonderful Abe Greenhouse was with us. He looks great despite being viciously attacked and punched in the face when he threw a pie in Sharanksy's face on 9/19. He kept saying it's not a religious issue, it's a human rights issue. Oh, and tonight, ARA had an apolitical commemoration for all the victims. I had to work late and couldn't attend unfortunately.
Oh and by the way, last month, AWARE sponsored walkathon we raised $2,500 for PCRF!!! Actually, it was the 100 or so people that showed up and gave so generously and I thank each and everyone!!!
I feel great, despite the fact that our governor chose to forget his purported working class sense of justice and instead took a stand for racism and intolerance.
We won't let him forget it, that's for sure.
