Congress will be debating whether to go to war with Iraq today.
In order to make an end-run around the UN inspectors -which Iraq has now given unconditional access for inspections of WHICH THE US ITSELF NAMED AS A KEY CONDITION - Rumsfield has pushed for the congressional debate. The Bush adminstration simply wants war regardless.

I was listening to this on the radio. Donald Rumsfeld kept trying to shut up Rep. Cynthia McKinney, and he made her sound like some sort of outside protester disrupting his meeting. It sounded more like british parliament where they all bicker than the american style agreement oriented congress. She came across really impressively.
