I can't say I think the Holocaust is used so much on non-Jews as it is on Jews. The Zionists decided the Holocaust was a wonderful thing for them right from the get-go, refusing to aid the victims, helping to block emgration to the West, even breaking the Jewish embargo and trafficking with the Nazi state for supplies destined for Palestine. They said "only with blood will we have our state". Not their blood of course, just the blood of other innocent Jews. Fast forward. They still need to get Jewish blood spilled to justify their cause. Salon Magazine did an interview with Finkelstein when his book came out in 2000. The Salon interview is noteworthy because besides Finkelstein's site itself, this interview is one of the few remaining "major" media sites on the author and his book. Every other major US newspaper and ezine site removed their interviews with Finkelstein, and even references to this book. Salon resisted the demands of American Jews to remove the interview.

After WWI, they started to have basic elections but did not have the essentials of democracy like a free press, and most people had less than a 9th grade education, plus Hitler only had about 32% of the vote anyway but just took power. People who supplied $$ to that regime take much more of the blame. about 5% of the country got put in camps as political prisoners, and those who weren't are more blameworthy than those who were killed for their opposition, but not as much as anyone who had power in the society. The same goes for the US. If you are higher than middle class or have a college degree and aren't doing anything to solve our situation, then you are guilty.

yes you are all quite right about the German people not having committed the holocaust. They certainly didn't do very much to stop it, as a whole. There's plenty of evidence that they knew what was going on and did basically nothing, many even approved. However I'm sure there were large numbers who didn't but felt overwhelmed by the vast support as well as the fact you might not want to speak up too loud about your concerns in a Nazi state. Therefore I stand corrected, the Germans did not commit the Holocaust, it was Nazis and their sympathizers. This was a comment made in haste and I'm sure most of you can understand my intent - it was much the same as I might say "the Americans intervened in Nicaragua" you all know that I don't mean that every single American went down there.

There are numerous comparisons of wartime Germany with Israel which can be made, everything is there except the concentration camps - and Nazi Germany didn't start out with those.
