Mike Malloy To Moderate "Impeachment, Dialogue, Debate and Action"

AM 1320, Sacramento's Left Channel, welcomes Air America Radio's Mike Malloy to Sacramento. Mike Malloy, who takes left of center talk radio to the verbal limits weekday evenings on AM 1320 from 7PM to 10PM, will moderate a ground breaking Forum, "Impeachment, Dialogue, Debate and Action," on Saturday, April 29th at the Crest Theatre at 8:30PM. A $10 donation, at the door, is suggested.

Sponsored by the Progressive Caucus of the California Democratic Party, this impeachment forum coincides with the State Democratic Convention being held in Sacramento, April 28th through the 30th. The purpose of the forum is educate the public and to put pressure on the Party Leadership to sign-on to the impeachment resolution introduced by Representative John Conyers.

Confirmed panelists include California Representative Maxine Waters, Bill Goodman and Shane Kadidal from the Center for Constitutional Rights, and Betsy de la Vega, former chief federal prosecutor of the City of San Jose, and author of an upcoming book on impeachment. In addition, invited to appear on the panel are Laurence Tribe, Representative John Conyers Jr. and David Swanson, founder of afterdowningstreet.org.

Malloy will also be hosting his nationally broadcast Air America Radio program from the AM 1320 studios on Friday evening, April 28th from 7PM to 10PM.

"For nearly 20 years, Mike Malloy has been making talk radio like this: caustic, abrasive, inventive, confrontational and resolutely left of center. It has won him admirers and awards, and it has cost him jobs. At a time when the very genre of talk radio is widely seen as synonymous with strident conservatism, his career both ratifies and belies that premise. " Salon.com
