Nov. 2, 2005, a Glorious Day to Drive Out the Bush Regime in mid-Pac

Later on, at noontime in downtown Honolulu, an unususal 'walk-in' in the busy Bishop & King streets intersection greeted the business district workers & corporate types, with a trolley decorated with 'Drive Out he Bush Regime' banners as well.

At 1:30pm in the afternoon, another boisterous crowd converged on the Army & Marine recruiting stations on Kapiolani Blvd. The windows of the shrinking "Army of One" station were plastered with photos of Iraqi victims of U.S. armed forces of terror. Over 85 activists held signs in front of the recruiting stations, chanting "NO to Occupations, NO to illegal Wars!" Taht evoked many sympathetic honks & waves from passing motorists & pedestrians.

At 4:30pm, another 40+ bicyclists began a Critical Mass bike ride through town(& at the same time passing out anti-Bush leaflets & chanting, "Drive Out the Bush Regime, No Blood for Oil") Even did a bit of CD actions by taking over 2 lanes of traffic at Beretania Street as well as performing a 'Circle of Cyclists' takeover of the University/Dole intersection. Motorists were surprised & amused at the Power of the Pedal demonstration. Viva la Revoluccion(of the spokes)!!

All in all, it was a Glorious Day of actions against the Bushwhacked & Rogue Regime. Perhaps it was even the propitious start of a Consciousness for the New Possible World to come.
