Interview with film-maker Bryan Young
Discusses Indy Film "This Divided State"
Listen now:
"This Divided State" was developed when film-maker Michael Moore made a campaign stop for John Kerry in Provo, Utah. The speech would be two weeks before the 2004 election, and the 'conservative' town would be an important test of the Bush status.
Of course the town was in a tizzy, and the old-boys did their best to deny him any comfort. The school he would appear at has since been punished by the town fools, electing to dumb-down their town for spite.
We interview Bryan Young, one of the co-directors and cinematographers of the film.
The interview is in two parts, yet to be edited into a whole. It begins after a cover of "Take Me to the River", 10:50 into part 1, and continues 13:40 into the second part.
Total run time 1:04
