Ingrid Newkirk to do book-signing 7pm Feb 17th in SF
Ingrid Newkirk (PETA's co-founder and president) will be doing a (free!) book-signing and speaking engagement at San Francisco's "A Clean, Well-Lighted Place for Books", which is located at 601 Van Ness Avenue on Friday February 17th at 7 PM.
She will be talking about her new book entitled, "Making Kind Choices" - an animal- and eco-friendly handbook for everyday uses.
Regardless of your opinions about PETA, Ingrid is a very informative and charismatic speaker. This is a great opportunity to hear her speak in an intimate, cool setting that is free of charge :)
