June 5th G8 Breakaway March Photos

I joined the crowd about 3 blocks from Justin Herman Plaza. They were in a bit of a standoff with the police. We marched down Embarcadero on the sidewalk, and the cops chased a kid into the fountain at JHP. We had a nice long standoff there at the Plaza, but the cops chose to not beat us up and arrest us all in front of the permitted ANSWER rally.
